Swinton Judo Club
The philosophy behind the club was and remains to strive to be as good as you can, and beware of all aspects of judo as well as just the competitive side. Although the club’s competitive section has attracted the most publicity, the other fields in which the club is involved such as Kata, Refereeing and general technique remain very important.
In 2003 the club moved to its current premises and is now financially very secure. We now run a charity event every year to help those less well off as well as doing our best to support our own players, who are now travelling over the country and Europe flying the flag for the club.
